Match devices to actual wattage

A charger does not force its full rated wattage into a device. Compatible devices negotiate power. What matters is whether the available USB-C Power Delivery profiles meet each device’s needs.

When two devices are plugged into one adapter, the available watts may be redistributed. A 65 W brick might not supply 65 W to a laptop when its second port is occupied.

Travel considerations

Check voltage compatibility, plug shape, and whether your adapter is merely changing the plug geometry. Airline battery restrictions apply to power banks rather than ordinary wall chargers. Inspect damaged cables before use.

Check final specifications and compatibility with the manufacturer before purchasing. Catalog items shown here are illustrative.
